Mykonos is the most cosmopolitan island of the world, more famous than Capri or Hawaii.
It is located in between the islands of Tinos and Naxos. It has poor vegetation, an area of 85 square kilometres, its coast line occupies 80 kilometres and a population of 5.500 people.
It is the most famous island of the Aegean, with international fame, many interesting sites, extraordinary beaches and tourists from the whole world, including famous personalities who prefer Mykonos for their vacation.

The windmills and the hundreds of white churches, together with Peter the pelican are the characteristic images of Mykonos.
The access to the island includes many ways:
- By plane from Athens (more than 10 flights per day), from Rhodes, Santorini, Crete and from all over the world via regular chartered flights.
- By sea from Piraeus (94 N.M.), from Rafina (71 N.M.), the Dodekanese, Crete and Thessaloniki and the other islands of the Cyclades. From Mykonos small ships sail for the island of Delos.
